Black Eyed Michael

Well it happened. A bit sooner than I thought. Getting slugged in the eye by a friend at age 4 just seems too early. Regardless, this past Tuesday, Michael got a shiner at school. He was wrestling with a friend, and it just sort of happened. It took a while to get the real story. I think the little boy that gave him the black eye was a bit worried he would get in trouble, and blamed another little boy at first. Michael never cried or complained and stated over and over that it was an accident. So funny how the parents feel like their child was totally tramatized by en event that was purely play for them.

Here is a picture of Michael eye taken 2 days after the slug. He looks alot better here.



But moving on, I am sharing some Valentines Day pictures of the boys. They had a fun day, with Michael giving and receiving more than 40 valentines. He got a special package from Gran, that made his day though. Here is a very happy Michael with one of his new books.



And here are a few more of from that evening. Henry has lost his adorable smile, and sneers much of the time. It is very funny. And Michael is gifting us with normal smiles now, after a year or so of sneers. So there is hope.
